Twenty-five fourth and fifth graders attended TOMECON the annual convention of Tome Society on March 13, 2018.  The Tome Society is an organization that promotes multiple literacies among 4th-12th grade students across the United States through: service; collaboration; competition-based club activities; and clean, entertaining, encouraging literature.  Students entered competitions in both the fall and spring semesters and we had two students place.   Jaithan P.  place third in the category Fan Fiction for his short story, Black Patriot, Enemy of Crazy Horse.  Nathaly V. designed our club's t-shirt and placed third in the t-shirt design category.  Krista B. was awarded a service award for her dedication and service to the media center. This is the first time FSES has had a club and we are so proud of our winners!
