Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse 2017 was nothing short of spectacular!  At approximately 1:00 pm, students in K-5 began watching via media cast footage from NASA regarding the impending solar eclipse.  At 2:00 pm, students in grades K-3 assembled in viewing rooms with windows to continue watching live broadcast(s) from different news outlets. Students in grades 4-5, put on their special viewing glasses and went outside to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse as it unfolded.  Staff, including Ms. Trexler and me, were just as excited (if not more) than the students.  We enjoyed our moon pies, Capri Suns, and Eclipse gum as we watched this historic event!
