Guidance and Counseling Program with Mrs. Lisa Broadhead

Guidance Main Page Image

Welcome to the Guidance and Counseling page for Factory Shoals Elementary School! My name is Mrs. Lisa Broadhead and this is my 7th year at "The Factory"!  I began my teaching career in Brooklyn, NY in 1999 where I taught 6th grade for several years. After relocating to Georgia in 2005 I have since taught 1st, 4th and 5th grades. Over time I noticed that beyond classroom teaching many students had a greater need for support to help them thrive academically and socially. As a result I pursued an advanced degree in School Guidance and Counseling which I received in April, 2009.  Helping children overcome obstacles and reach their full potential is my true passion and I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year ahead.
